The Research Division of the Alabama Center for Real Estate is a resource for industry stakeholders in both residential and commercial real estate. The Center engages State-Wide and Nationally with a broad spectrum of residential and commercial real estate industry organizations.  With regard to residential real estate, the Research Division is a resource to entities ranging from The Alabama Association of Realtors (AAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to the Alabama Housing Authority and the respective Alabama Home Builders Associations.

ACRE Research is also a resource for commercial real estate. It is engaged with commercial real estate organizations such as the CCIM Institute, IREM, ICSC, and the Appraisal Institute.  In 2018, ACRE commenced a collaborative research relationship with the CCIM Institute, and ACRE’s Director of Research (K.C. Conway, MAI, CRE) serves as CCIM’s Chief Economist.

 The ACRE Research Division has specialized expertise in real estate market analysis, forecasting housing conditions, matters of real estate finance and bank regulation, adaptive reuse, ports and logistics, and a broad spectrum of real estate research related support services, including but not limited to market impact studies and litigation support. ACRE Research has recently published nationally recognized research papers on Amazon HQ2 search, Site Selection, and Adaptive Reuse.  Please contact either K.C.
